Priceing Expectations and FAQ

Pricing Expectations

Every project is different, and we always provide a clear, full estimate before any work begins.

That said, most residential forestry mulching projects typically fall within these professional ballpark ranges:

$1,000–$2,500+ per acre, or

$150–$300+ per hour (minimums may apply)

Final pricing is based on factors like vegetation density, terrain, access, and overall project scope. A quick site review—often using photos or video—is the best way to provide an accurate estimate.

FAQ

Will vegetation grow back?
Yes. Because roots remain, some regrowth is natural. Many properties benefit from maintenance mulching every 1–3 years.

How long does the mulch last?
Mulch typically decomposes over 12–18 months, improving soil as it breaks down.

Can I seed grass afterward?
Yes. Grass grows best once mulch settles or is spread thinner, especially if depth exceeds ~3 inches.

Can I rent a machine and do this myself?
Forestry mulchers are powerful and can eject debris at high speed. Most homeowners find professional service is safer, faster, and more cost-effective.
